Delete your account.

This page explains how to request deletion of your PropOS account and the data linked to it, what we delete, what we are legally required to keep, and for how long. Last updated 2 June 2026.

This deletion request page applies to the PropOS mobile application (available on Google Play and the App Store) and the PropOS web application at proposhq.com, both operated by PropOS SARL (in formation), Casablanca, Morocco.

1. Delete your account from inside the app

You can request deletion of your account yourself, directly from the PropOS app or web dashboard:

  1. Sign in to PropOS (mobile app or propos.app).
  2. Open Settings → Security from your account menu.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm the request. We re-authenticate you to make sure it is really you, then schedule your account for deletion.

Once confirmed, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can sign back in to cancel the request. After 30 days the deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

2. Prefer to ask us instead?

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address on your account at privacy@propos.app with the subject “Account deletion request”. We verify your identity and complete the request within 30 days, as required by Loi 09-08 (Morocco) and the GDPR.

3. What is deleted

When your deletion completes, we permanently remove:

  • Your profile: name, email, phone number, language preference, and profile photo
  • Your login credentials and any two-factor authentication enrolment
  • Messages, notices, and chat history you posted
  • Maintenance tickets, photos, and descriptions you created
  • Documents you uploaded that are not part of a legal accounting record
  • Technical data tied to your account (IP-based session data, device records)

4. What is kept, and for how long

Some data cannot be deleted immediately because Moroccan law requires us to retain it. These records are kept only for the periods below and are not used for any other purpose:

  • Financial and accounting records (invoices, payments, expense records) — retained 10 years as required by the Moroccan Code de Commerce (art. 19).
  • Audit log entries (who did what, and when) — retained 7 years for security and accountability.
  • Server access logs — retained 30 days, then automatically purged.

Where the law allows, retained financial records are anonymised or pseudonymised so they can no longer be linked back to you as an individual once your account is gone.

5. Deletion for residents added by a syndic

If you were added to a building by a syndic (property manager), the syndic is the data controller for that building’s data. You can still request deletion of your personal account using the steps above. Records that belong to the building itself (for example, a shared invoice or an AGM minute) remain with the syndic under their own legal obligations. If you need building-level data removed, contact your syndic or email privacy@propos.app and we will route your request.

6. Export your data first

Before deleting, you can download everything we store about you as a machine-readable JSON export from Settings → Security → Export my data. Deletion is permanent, so export anything you want to keep beforehand.
